Octagonal Mast Video Announced

Pumpers and contractors can now make an educated decision about separate placing boom mounting by viewing a new video produced by Schwing America. The video explains the advantages of the company’s new modular octagonal mast system in self-climbing applications.

Some factors that the video discusses are floor size opening considerations, incremental climbing issues and stability during self-climbing. The video shows job-site footage of the self-climbing process with an octagonal mast and other mounting methods.

The Schwing octagonal system enjoys advantages including smaller floor opening size, integrated climbing rail, bolt-on pipe and ladder holders and the modular system of bolt-together six-meter sections. The video shows the ability to free-stand an octagonal mast to 70-feet and emphasizes that the system is compatible with all Schwing separate placing booms from 24 to 37 meters.

The video can be requested from a Schwing regional sales representative or by contacting Schwing at 1-888-SCHWING. The video is also being streamed at www.schwing.com.
