Schwing Service Technicians Join Fluid Power Society

Schwing service technicians are now active members of the International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) according to the manufacturer of concrete pumps, separate placing booms and truck mixers. The IFPS is an organization for fluid power and related motion control professionals. The Society’s services include education, certification and professionalism. “Because modern concrete pumps are dependent on hydraulic operation, Schwing made the decision to join this world-leading organization to enhance the level of service we can provide our customers,” according to Tony Haider, director of customer service for Schwing America.

Schwing’s field and factory service technicians are available 24 hours, seven days a week to assist customers in maintaining Schwing equipment to the highest levels of performance. As part of their commitment, the technicians subscribe to a program that requires: certification by the IFPS; attendance of a Schwing Level 3 service school every three years minimum; complete an electrical and hydraulic CE course every three years minimum; complete periodic on-line factory training and other training recommended by Schwing.

Schwing service technicians are positioned strategically throughout the United States and at six company branches to better serve the market.
