Electric Power Options on Schwing High Pressure Stationary Concrete Pumps

Customers can choose electric power on Schwing’s SP 4800 and SP 8800 high pressure concrete pumps for all applications and specifically when job site conditions exclude conventional diesel power. Other advantages of the electric powered units over diesel engines are quieter operation and reduced energy expense. Performance of these record-breaking high pressure pumps is unaffected by the choice of the electric motor option with the ability to provide 152 cubic yards per hour output and up to 2920 psi on the concrete. These proven concrete pumps have topped out more high rise structures than any others.

Both models benefit from the open loop Generation 3 all-hydraulic concrete pump that offers efficiency, reliability and performance. Controlled acceleration of the differential cylinders reduces surge in the pipeline for smooth, quiet operation. The proven Rock Valve™ creates positive pressure within the valve which is ideal for high pressure pumping applications. As pressure from the concrete acts on the pressure spring, a tighter seal is created between the carbide cutting ring and the wear plate. This allows pumping the harshest mixes at the lowest operating cost. The Rock Valve, with dual shifting cylinders, also requires less water for faster clean-up.

Standard features of the SP 4800 and SP 8800 include a convenient control panel with electric switches for on/off, forward/reverse and agitator on/off. Gauges monitor pumping pressure and rpm. A cable connected remote provides forward, reverse, stop and E-stop control. Manual outrigger legs are provided on the SP 4800 and hydraulically operated outriggers are standard on the SP 8800.
