New Schwing High Pressure Pump Models

After decades of record-setting performance on high rise and high volume projects, Schwing is adding some new model numbers to the SP 8800 and SP 4800 line of stationary concrete pumps. “These are some of the most famous models having pumped out the World Trade Center and more recently the Bridgestone Tower in Nashville and the Comcast Tower in Philadelphia along with hundreds of high visibility projects, “ according to Tom O’Malley senior vice president of sales and marketing for Schwing. The new models will be the
SP 7000/7500 and SP 9000/9500.

Many of the same features will be retained in the new models including the twin cylinder, all-hydraulic concrete pump kit and high pressure Rock Valve. Most important is the addition of Tier 4 diesel engines to comply with ever-tightening emissions, state and federal mandates and the desire of many contractors to offer low emissions pumping as an added value benefit to their customers. In Tier 4 configuration, outputs for the SP 7500 with CAT 400 hp diesel are up to 130 cubic yards per hour and pressures to 3524 psi. The SP 9500 with Tier 4 CAT 630 hp diesel offers output to 118 cubic yards per hour with pressures to 3321 psi on the concrete. Customers can enjoy lower maintenance with Tier 4 engines due to the low sulphur fuel required for their operation. Other pump kit configurations are available with non Tier 4 CAT diesels for specific applications.

The new models are equipped with Schwing Contriol Technology (SCT) that includes, a large display, button keypad with LEDs, easy to navigate screens and optional radio remote. Screen choices include Engine Status and Pump Codes for easy diagnosis. Hydraulically-driven oil coolers and Symmetrical Shifting are standard for smooth, cool-running. All models are equipped with engine enclosures for quieter operation in urban areas and security on-site. “Also standard is the Schwing customer experience that combines our pumping expertise on record breaking projects along with unmatched factory support. This includes extensive parts inventory and a staff of service technicians available by phone or in person at all times,” O’Malley adds.
